WHAT IT DOES.

It is assumed these facts are agreed,

I. The Chinese form a potential market for trade and business

which, to-day, is barely touched.

2. The Chinese will respond to a business approach on lines

similar to those appealing to other nations.

3. Such approach entails direct contact with Chinese dealers and consumers, made in their own language and by methods to which they are accustomed.

As very few non-Chinese can travel in the Interior of China and talk direct to the people there, the Trade Fair at Hong- kong enables you to display your goods on the threshold of South China. Chinese officials, merchants, dealers and the public are invited to visit the Trade Fair and inspect your goods, and to discuss business with you or your Chinese-speaking representatives specially provided by the Organisers for that purpose.

WHAT YOU CAN DO THROUGH IT,

Without leaving your office or incurring any expenses for sending your own representatives, if you so desire you can ship your goods to Hongkong; have them displayed at your stall; have your sales points lucidly explained to Chinese callers by trained, Chinese-speaking salesmen; have your goods sold; have a full report on how they appeal to the Chinese; have a report giving suggestions on how to turn to advantage all the invaluable information acquired for you during the period the Trade Fair is open, setting out which of your goods prove acceptable to Chinese, and in which a possibility exists for building up a permanent market.
